IM BACK

to b precise, im back from aussie last sat nite

I LOVE AUSTRALIA

okie i had a jolly good time there especially wif my dearest aunt
took lots of pixies but im TOOO lazy to upload them up here as blogger is SUPER DUPER SLOW

so back to my trip
arrived at brisbane international airport on 18dec at around 7.30am (aussie timing, its 2 hrs ahead of our time, so its like 5.30am in spore time)
FINALLY AFTER SOO SOO LONG, i saw my dearest aunt wif my uncle!
they picked us up n off we went to gold coast which is about 2 hrs drive

my aunt looks really different n im glad shes doin well in aussie as a religious teacher
n im so proud to have her as my aunt

reached our motel at gold coast n my parents n i knocked off
i got a very bad cold wen i was at spore airport n my mum got infected by it as well
so we all had a gd rest n the weather was GLARING HOT as its summer
but how GLARING it is, its very windy, COLD WIND
so can u all imagine, the weather SUPER DUPER HOT, n im like shivering n hav my jacket on! haha
so at the first day upon reachin the motel, the whole family just stayed indoors and SLEEP
we left out of the motel to hav dinner at this malaysian restaurant called "sayang"
an average meal of rice plus side dishes cost close to 20 aussie (not inclusive of their 10 percent gst yet)
the owner of the motel drove us there as my aunt recommend us the restaurant
so a decent meal in aussie is rather costly
however, its DAMN NICE
my dad ordered the devil curry lamb n its really devil
i can feel the spicyness of the food till my nostrils! haha (which acts as an instant cure to my cold)
so its worth the money!
got back to our motel via taxi
n it cost us a bomb 40 aussie (NOT INCLUSIVE OF THE DAMN 10% GST)
n its like from bedok go geylang there
so another point to take note: IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO TRAVEL IN AUSSIE VIA THEIR PUBLIC TRANSPORT
n i got to noe that their bus service charged 25 aussie per person
waa piang!

2nd day: DREAMWORLD
the theme park is crazy
the rides are all wild
n i cant believe i took all the REALLY REALLY SCARY rides
fyi: i fear heights!
i took those crazy rides wif Omar's (my cousin) sis in law (his sis in law is 17)
im glad i had her as company or not i will b a dead loner coz my parents were too freaked out by the rides n they just took the train and ship rides (BORING) haha
dreamworld even have wild life such as koalas, kangaroos (dint even get to see many of them, perhaps the weather is just too hot for them), tigers
its a really great experience
the entry ticket is like close to 70 aussie, but its worth it!

ONE THING BOUT AUSTRALIA, ALL THE SHOPS AND EVERYTHING CLOSES AT 5 PM
so we left dreamworld close to 5 n off we went over to Omar's place for dinner
Im in love with Omar's house
its super super nice
after dinner, omar drove us back to our motel n its dreamland for my parents n i (snoozing time)

3rd day: SHOPPING AT SURFERS PARADISE AND HARBOUR TOWN
surfers is SOO SOO NICE
the beach is so CLEAR, nth compared to our stinky east coast beach
the sand is so white n soft
it was so windy that my cap can actually come off
the shoppin is also good!
we had our lunch at this malaysian restaurant, "the golden legend" or something like tat
served really good food! i enjoyed it like crazy
haha

after we r done wif tat, had mini-shopping for our love ones back in spore
it was 1pm (aussie time) n omar suggested we shop at harbour town which offered a great worth of deal
N INDEED IT WAS
all the branded stuffs are like really affordable
so i got myself a pair of lacoste pumps for 50 aussie, tops, slippers for i dono how much, haha
then lots more for love ones back in singapore
we shopped till its 4.30pm n headed down to australian fair (another mall, about 5-10km from harbour town) to get my dad's shirt (apparently at harbour town doesnt have his size)
luckily we managed to get to the mall just in time before it closes n my dad was the happiest man alive! haha

afterwhich omar drove us to this famous fish n chips place at surfers to have our dinner
n it was soo sooo good
we have the meal near to the ocean, the strong ocean wind made us shiver while eating! haha
after having a hearty dinner, omar drove us back n it was snoozing time

NEXT DAY, Back To BRISBANE
i will continue the next time i hav the energy to post it! haha

FELLOW HOMOSAPHEINS

ok, changed to a new blog skin plus new url (KUDDOS TO ME)
many things happened and let see if i can list all of it here
but first and foremost IM GOIN TO AUSTRALIA TMR!!
that is like the entire thing im lookin forward to for this term break
first time on an air plane!
with all the money i saved (that took me a year or so) n im gonna spend it within 10 days (money sure come and go)

so im a proud california fitness member now (2 weeks ago went to sign up for their membership, n its a bomb! so feel like cryin each time i think of it)
my leg muscles start to develop (YAYNESS)
its been years since i last work out n perspire like crazy
so with this, i really hope to benefit out of it
most importanly get the stamina and strength plus the important POINT which is shedding off reasonable weight particularly on the abdomen region.

p.s: i really perspired like crazy durin the areboics class, for the first time im showered with salty pespirations (ok sounds EEEWW)

next, i pass my basic theory test at the very first time
another KUDOS to myself
so once im back from the trip, im gonna start driving lessons proper plus bookin the final theory test which i really wish to pass it the first round too

moving on, my face is gettin way better compared to before i ate the medications
i shall dig up some old pics n compared it with now
its near to flawless (meaning no more unecessary zits poppin out) yet they are still scars from the OLD ZITS
i hope it will b better soon so i can stop consuming the MONEY DRAINING DRUGS
but then again, no pain no gain (the pain here is MONEY)

and my hair is as curly as ever.. haha
its like those poms-poms of the cheerleaders except with curly strands, HAHA

school has been good i think?
so far i pass the theory tests (kudos)
now left with the business showcase and CPR practical which i really hope to ace it once and for all
have yet to start revising as im very much enthusiatic for my upcomin trip plus the gym
past presentations in classes are not very much amusing to me, so i need to do n kick it well for the theory tests, i need to maintain my prestige (gettin GPA more than 3 n stay on in the director's list)
so once sch reopens, academic and sha have to be true good pals =D

talkin bout pals, met up wif suhana yesterday after my latin dance
was sooooo happy to meet up wif her
planned our trip to suntec and as expected we r lost!
hahaha
so glad they had directories everywhere, so our lost factor wasnt tat really bad
photos are wif her, i shall upload it once i got it..

p.s: i love u suhana!

its a very colourful post today, and i wish my life to b as colourful as this

ok i got a bad news, 2009 is coming n im turning 19 soon (im old, sadness)

cant wait for my trip!
i will definitely post up lots n lots of pixies!! haha
